  • End of 2017

  • End of 2018

if he loses every game youd think so right?
Nope. West Coast are a prudent and conservative organisation. A disappointing season impacted by injuries to our two most important players.

If you think Simpson will be sacked off the back of that, you don't have any idea.

We all know the gutlessness extends from the top down and eventually trickles down to what we see on the field - we know it won't happen at seasons end but we all want it to.

You genuinely don't?
I dont think he will be sacked but i guarantee he will be under extra pressure and scrutiny.WCE supporters like success and i think we have had enough of the be good corporate citizens era.If Simmo is basing his whole career on NNs ability its a sad day for all of us.For goodness sake get this team organised so that when NN comes back he is the cream not the nuts and bolts. The GF year was probably the year of footy watching i enjoyed more than any other because we were written off and were FORCED to make changes and had great success against all odds. This year is probably the year ive enjoyed the least;even worse than wooden spoon year.We have gone nowhere..er ..yes we have, weve gone backwards;we have clung desperately to the old guard, constantly lost winnable games, havnt shown a lot of support for each other on the field re things like shepperding and physical clashes and generally this has been a nothing year.We have clung to a misguided belief that we are a finals side when blind Freddie could tell we are struggling.Yes weve had injuries but we had them in GF year. This side needs a change of direction and if Simmo is the one to lead it then he needs a change of direction.

We are still in the hunt for a finals spot and therefore experience in the games matter
Experience means **** all if the players aren't performing, and even less if they're aren't even doing the basics like laying a shepherd. What kinda message does that send the less experienced guys? As it currently stands out experienced guys are doing us more harm than good.

There's a whole thread on it that Fivestrings started today.
But also I've posted this numerous times on a couple of threads so people are probably sick of seeing it. It was accurate up until (and including) Mutimers debut iirc and covers from 2011-now. We've debuted the least number of players and of those that have debuted the players who we've drafted have gone on to play the least number of total games. Pretty damning.

God, the games played isn't even close. Excluding the Hawks we've put 40% fewer games into new guys than the next least amount. We've put 12% fewer compared to the Hawks and they've won 3 flags in that time. There's gotta be some serious questions asked about the way this club has been run of late.

Ugh **** the "player" bit off that contract. Actually get rid of the coach bit too, what is he going to teach anyone? Other than some leading patterns/blocking for JK, he is just pure skill.

The 3 year player/contract offer wasn't in the tweet. Chris_6678 is having a shit stir.

Did I write "board" Mr Pedantic? As previously stated, we've changed a lot since 2007.
You did write board, sorry I missed that.

Since the board is full of business types now, I doubt they'd have any qualms in axing an underperforming executive and giving him a golden handshake.

Very loyal man is Simpson, I like that .....Lecras is a beautifully skilled footballer and would be good to have him around the squad .

Read that of the WA based players Lecras is third fastest something like 18.7km/hr over the distance of his running during a game and Gaff was right up there in the top few also ...I think S Hill was below pace on Lecras as the name suggests Hill must of been doing just that running up a Hill or he just cant keep up now.
