Club sources confirmed Geoff Walsh was stepping down for family reasons. David Misson will fill the vacancy on an interim basis in the revamped football department headed by returned senior coach Ross Lyon.

Yeah I doubt Molly would be a powerbroker at the club at his age, he has enough problems just looking after himself without looking after St Kilda.

I doubt anyone involved with the club wanted Geoff Walsh gone, it sounds like it was purely his decision to leave the club due to family reasons.

Wasn't that why he left North last time. He then Landed back at Collingwood not long after in what was suppossed to be short term. He stayed 3 or 4 years before supposedly retiring.
