This is a bit of a knee jerk. His debut game he was against a slower but well experienced midfield. He wasn't getting exposed for pace and he impacted pretty well.

You want an afl level attribute? 6:36 left in the 2nd. Look at the way he was able to stand up in a tackle from both Nankervis and Hopper and get a clean handball out to Holmes. Strength, clean hands, vision, all afl level. Got a brownlow vote on debut and broke the record for score involvements in a debut

The problem is the next week he came up against a quick midfield in gws and we had to hide him in the forward line. If your structure can accommodate a guy who can be a contest specialist but can't run then he's your man. He's definitely not Chris Scott's man

Yeah should have mentioned only works on phones. But a great tool to review players because it you tap "extended" it will show every stat they register in a game

After watching the most recent finals games, Stevens would have had no business playing in that type of intensity. He can use the footy well but his lack of speed would have been massively exposed.

I wish him well, but his skillset is just not suited to footy in 2025. He would have been a good player in 2005, but alas the game has changed.

He played 2 but the GWS one was forgettable.

I think he will struggle given we are adding Worpel and Bruhn to the team from last year in his position.
