Terrible news from Germany where a car has driven through a Xmas market killing at least one and left behind a trail of injuries and property damage.

No word as to motive yet but the driver suspect has been arrested. Apparently a Saudi Doctor who has been leaving in Germany 20yrs or so.

A van struck and killed 10 pedestrians Monday afternoon in north Toronto and the driver fled the scene, Canadian police said.

Not really sure why the right have opted for this weird hang up on the framing here; the "Islamic barbarity" line at least takes a minute of reading about this case to debunk where the phrasing is consistent with every other time something like this has happened.

In my experience, psychiatrists and madness often go together. I used to work with this bloke, he was part of a psychiatric crisis team.
