Would be an upgrade on Gibson.
I'd be more than willing to get him if it was for a 3rd round pick plus fringe player

I tend to agree. As much as I like Gibbo, if this is what he's bringing to the table then at the moment he's keeping his spot, but as you said only for someone like Cunnington to eventually take itTo be honest I don't necessarily see Gibson as a straight up starter 22 long term, let alone Sylvia.
Gibbo's a great find don't get me wrong since he's a mature age body ready for AFL, but to me he is grooming the spot for Cunnington which in a couple years time should make for a natural transition.
from what i have seen of cunnington so far he had a LOT of work to take that spot at the moment.I tend to agree. As much as I like Gibbo, if this is what he's bringing to the table then at the moment he's keeping his spot, but as you said only for someone like Cunnington to eventually take it
^thisNo thanks, Sylvia is a flog of the highest order. He's also not that tough either. Stay away figjam!
Would rather David Mackay from Adelaide.

Not sure if serious.. have you seen Goldstein at the moment and you want to trade away our #1 ruck for an unproven player??
But I tend to agree get him down here. He could re invent himself at North up forward, like say Andrew Walker has done at Carlton.
Ruckmen are arguably the most important players on a team. Especially at North, where alot of our center clearances come from the inside through Spitta, Ziebell and Adams.Goldy or Hamish I really don't care. Ruckmen arn't that important. Geelong finished last in hit outs once and won a flag. Good mids will snipe it from anywhere. midfield forwards that can mark and kick straight are very hard to find. I have met Col before and he is a great fella. Just cops unfair criticism and is a scapegoat for his football club. Im surprised he even went on this year at that rabble. With good people around him at North Melbourne Wellsy, Swallow, Harves, Drew we will get the best out of him.
I'd have a look at him in the offseason.
As has been mentioned, he's icing, he's never played in a dominant side, he's a game breaker, with some obvious issues.
FFS I read countless threads on Fevola for 2 years.
God forbid we had the media we had now, during the 90's, there were plenty of fantastic footballers in our side that were also absolute ***** of blokes, that most on these boards idolise, you can forgive them in a successful side....
It's the code to activate the North Korean sleeper agents. What the hell is this shit?
We're not going anywhere near him so don't see the point.
