They have national programs now because the funding has been cut so much. Before Little Johnny they would have had WA based regional programs but to cut costs in regional areas it's one National Grandstand. I think Abbott may be the problem and not the solution.

I was listening to the match online on ABC's Grandstand website by wi-fi on my notebook.
I don't recall any such interruption with my reception of the radio broadcast.
Though the user interface for the match on afl.com.au wasn't working properly for most of the match.
