Yes please. Won't happen though. Not with Schwab at the helm.

Besides Jim Stynes coming in and helping wipe our debt, there isn't a lot of things we have done right in a very long time. Like I said, we are a basketcase atm. What's the difference between us sticking our hand out for money from the AFL or them helping us out in this situation?
Look, I'm sure we have put a call to Rendell. And tbh, we would look fairly attractive to him. He'll pretty much have a blank canvas to work with and some top draft picks this season. I don't see anything wrong with asking the AFL to help get this over the line. Christ, the AFL virtually had a helping hand in every appt at GWS and GC. We need help right now! anyone not admitting that is blind...
Anyone watch Footy Classified then? Garry got questioned about the Dees chasing Rendell and he was quite sheepish, saying the club should sound him out.
Could be nothing in it, but just got a vibe we might be in the picture.

He'd be a fantastic acquisition for any club. Wish he was still at Adelaide. That said, he did mention that he was starting to feel the strain of the job and was thinking of packing it in after this season anyway.
Collingwood have got him.
Is that official? Thought it was just a rumour.
Being reported in the Hun, we get Taylor from the Pies (who is the man we wanted from the start) and Rendell goes to C'wood.
On reflection, didn't Rendell say that he wanted 2012 to be his last year in the FC interview?![]()
Very interesting - Don't know much about Taylor would like to hear more...
I do like that the club (and probably Neeld) have targeted a man they think will work well with the new mantra of the club. (Only speculation but you'd think this is the guy who held develop the C'wood list which is the type of hardworking contested list we are aiming for at the MFC).
Very happy with that result
But would like to know more
Jason Taylor has been our W.A based spotter for a few years now.
Can't blame him for wanting the chance to head up his own department.
Our current W.A players that have played seniors consist of
2010 draft
Alex Fasolo @ pick 45 from East Fremantle
Kirk Ugle @ pick 60 from Swan Districts
Andrew Krakouer - Gold Coast pre listed via Swan Districts
From previous drafts & rookie drafts
Alan Toovey - Harry O'Brien & Sharrod Wellingham
Marley Williams - Last years rookie list.
Considering we haven't had a decent draft pick in years he has done well with the picks we have had.

Thanks Frizzle - shame he probably won't be around for this years draft for us - there is a fair chance we'll have a few nice picks for him to use!!!![]()
Just because he can't officially sit at your draft table doesn't mean he isn't talent spotting in the west for you guys right now. I'm sure he will be having input in some way for this so called super draft.
to me this is the thing that Schwab and co, need to be doing right now, no questions asked.
We need an elite recruiter. We will be armed with a bunch of high picks this upcoming draft, and it will be by far the most important draft in the MFC history. We can not stuff it up.
Rendell has the runs on the board. Look at how the Crows are doing now. They are rolling, and Rendell is the guy that spotted and drafted all their elite young talent.
He is as good a recruiter as there is, AND HE IS AVAILABLE.
I will be shocked if we aren't sounding him out at the very least.
