Can everyone please get off Carltons f**cking back and let them concentrate on footy. After the 'one off' dissapointing game against Essendon all the news and even our own supourters are calling players lazy, indiciplin, he should get dropped.. sacked and so on. It was only 1 week ago everyone was talking about how competetive we played against stkilda and yes.. ' they are coming'
Next 2 games.. Freo and Richmond. beat them! be 8-7 with games against roos ,melbourne, swans& port coming up... ILL GURANTEE USE ALL, SOON RATHER THAN LATER THE ONLY NEWS COMING OUT OF VISY PARK WILL BE POSITIVE NEWS!!

I agree, and dissagree. Yes it was one game brain fade, but it came from some senior players (fev, stevo) niether should be dropped, but it is about time we start showing the dominace we are capable of.

..1 off... how do you explain Essendon in rd.3, also the Swans, Freo and Crows performances then, hardly 1 off isn't it, they have been bullshitting us all year, even played ordinary when we beat half a Collingwood side.

If the over-paid, over-rated prima donnas from the Carlton footy club can't handle some criticism from the fans, they really aren't cut out for league footy.

I would suggest any player who gets upset/reacts to negative fan comments IE at the game or from the net forums, should be weeded out of the club, got no time for soft ***** ...

Any player who is dumb enough to read Bigfooty or Talking Carlton, has no one to blame but themselves if they see comments that are negative/critical ...

They tee off on the boys much more at Talking Carlton then on this board anyway.

Freo beat us on the Gold Coast, we don't travel well, so why should we win this week in Perth???

Last weeks 2nd half was a shocker no doubt and you wouldnt want a repeat but think back to your match with StKilda. You are still almost certain finalists and although you are no longer the strong top 4 chance you were 1 week ago that is still on the cards.

Think of Geelong losing to Coll last year by 86 pts, Coll got pounded by Lions by near 100 pts a few weeks before a great 07 finals series. Lots of other examples

I have enjoyed the wrist slashing tendency seen this week but calling your demise for 09 is unfortunately premature

Im sure guys on here venting their frustrtation , disappointments and anger will not have any affect on Carlton concentrating on their football so you dont have to worry about that ..need not to worry ..the players dont come online bigfooty to listen to what the supporters have to say .

Lets break it down:

* We were good for a half against a team known to trouble us, with some good forward work - despite some bad errors in defence
* we were shocking once they got a run-on, and the errors and lack of run killed us
* We barely gave a whimper when the Bombers started party time

This tells me

* We have one leader, and if he's tagged, we have nothing
* We are so reliant on Grigg (St Kilda match) or Murphy or Gibbs to spark us as the second level midfield tier

Also armfield is a dumb shit who has no idea how to play zone.
