Right! i have a bee in my bonnett and i know some of you might roast me for it but that is alright as i am allowed my opinion and you yours ok.

Do you want this Mighty Club to Fold , I Know i don't !

Do you want this Mighty Club to Merge, I know i don't !

Do You want this Mighty Club to Go Interstate , I know i don't !

If you do not buy a membership in the not so distant future this could happen !

With out your support this club might colapse and be no more i am sure you do not want this to happen !

We may be financal [$95,000 profit i think it was] at the moment but that might not stay that way with out your help ! and next year might be worse if we are not lucky on the financial side of it! hopefully this will not happen but it could!

If you can not buy a membership cause of your financial situation or for other reasons beyond your controll , then theses other things might help the club , buy your footy gear at hawks nest

http://shop.afl.com.au/hawks/

or got there sometimes for a meal or a drink , when the chance to do so comes around , anything like that will help the club .

Do not use Jeff as a reason for not joining ,you have to put those feelings aside and think HAWTHORN needs me ,he is a hawk supporter doing his thing to help this club and if he can fantastic ,why not let him , and think not what the club can do for me but what i can do for the club !

i have had my rant i feel better now please join me with hawthorn on a journey into the wilderness of 2006 which i believe will be a better year !

Well ranted Hawks Heroes!!

I am as broke as Anna Nicole Smith's bra strap, but I am buying my two memberships (my young fella and I) today.

The club needs to know that the members are along for the ride. Anyone can join when we are in the top 4, but the true supporters need to join this year to make sure the club does not become the Tigers (ie cannot afford rookies etc).

Great passion, HH. Bought my 2006 membership last week and hope to be in a situation where I can see more games next season. 2 up here (Gabba & Carrara (no Sydney)) and will be in Melbourne for any big ones (gee, most games could be if our team performs better). Cant wait till the start of the new season.

I live in Sydney - any place I can join up here ? Just the internet ?
to purchase or renew your membership online or call 13000 HAWKS (1300 042 957) to purchase a new membership or 1300 856 456 to renew your membership.
hope this helps

I love your passion but i must admit that i am piXXed off at the club. Even though brown and gold blood runs thru my veins, i am starting to think the club is taking the members for granted.
As i stated elsewhere (http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210539), I have been a member for many years but the club is continually taking games interstate while charging more and more for membership packages.
I and all of my mates will be downgrading our membership packages but will still sign up because we live for Hawthorn FC.
As much as i hate to say it, the club appear to be more interested in the interstate money from Tassie or QLD than ours.

The way I do it is quality over quantity. In the end the club still gets the same amount of money as if I had bought a membership ticket and I get a great day at the football regardless of result.

I have a couple of mates who barrack for the Swans (ok there not perfect mates, but close enough) so we buy tickets to "Dippers Boundary Riders" for Hawks v Swans, last year at the G.

Wonderful day. Drinks 2 hours before, 8 or so different finger foods (good quality stuff & plenty of it) an AFL record, reserved seats up with the toffs, drinks at half time and again for 30 minutes after the game & a player coming down for a chat... cant beat it.

I remember Hawthorn came 2nd in Rd22 but I didnt care as I was full of the happy juice....:)

Benefit to Hawks is I get 2 opposition supporters paying around $150 each to watch the Hawks. It all helps.

Agree with those sentiments, HH! Signed on as a 2006 member about 3 weeks ago. Am also really looking forward to receiving & viewing the DVD you receive for signing up before Christmas.
Was that the Hawthorn "2005 highlights" DVD? Isn't that an oxymoron?:D

11-12 000 as of today..not bad considering we only have 5 home games, and we traditionally sign up members late (unlike other clubs)

Im signing up for the first time in 2 years in the new year; combination of golf membership, MCC membership, and many other expenses. (basically alot of payments at the same time, which made putting off membership easy)

I think if we could get 30 000 members this year, it would hold us in excellent sted in the years to come; regarding the MCG contract as well as being able to continue paying 100% of the salary cap; which is vital to holding onto our kids.

I cant wait to see the Hawks surge up the ladder in 2006, if not only seeing the kids developing in itself is a good enough oppurtunity to either rejoin/ join for the first time.

:thumbsu: Good work, and i have a scarf with 9 years on it so please dont question my loyalty. I was just taking the pxss about the "highlights" DVD not your loyalty.
I also see you were born in 89 just after the GF so i am glad to see the next generation who missed the glory years are just as passionate.

Peter Knights was talking at the December Family Day, and said that there would be a twilight Legends game at Ausdoc/Glenferrie Oval on Thursday March 2, with the family day being the following Sunday (March 5).

There is another thread devoted to this exact topic ...

Again, at the Family Day in December, there were notices posted on the tables at the Membership tent, advising that due to a fire at the factory in China (don't ask me why a factory in China is processing our membership packs - I have no idea   ), the packs would be delayed until sometime in January.

Suggest you give the club a call next week (when there will be someone there to answer your enquiry) to ask this.
