He is going to be an absolute star.

Mark my words. :)

Adrian Dodoro rates the kid very highly yet when asked is he the most talented kid you drafted this year he said football ability wise no he isnt. The young fella they drafted at 44 is the one that excites adrian the most and he cant believe they got him at 44. The worry with dyson and kepler is they are very thin so they will need to take some time to fill out. but very exciting times ahead for the EFC.

What Crap!!!!...if he was the most talented why would you risk taking him so late.

Hirdy must be rapt - now there's two players at the club with legs skinnier than his. Fletcher might have to wait till next year's draft and hope they pick up someone even skinnier.;)

Seriously - I watched him play a couple of times this year. He's good. Very, very good.

Dyson was a steal at pick 44. He was meant to go between 20 and 30 so I think we have done well out of it.

Hope Kepler becomes a great player for our club.

Puzzles me why ppl say this after the draft, they should wait 5 years then see, no guatantee that our's or any1's else draftes' will be any good. Think back some ppl said

pick 76 james who?

pick 17 Davies out future captain

Some guys don't need it.

Winderlich is another wiry bloke who will probably never end up looking like Solomon or Mark Johnson. But he won't need to.

Let's not forget Newton's old law: F = ma. If you're quick enough, you can get away with being skinny. ;)

i disagree, he's 18 and has arms as thick as fletches legs.
I think NANDOZ is right on the mark this kid will be something big!

Marcuz ... the draft is a lottery and sometimes, just sometimes, you suprise yourself with the hand you are delt. Dyson was easily 10-20 picks better than 44. We did well.

I know he was. Who has been talking the kid up all year..me. What i was saying is that if Adrian dodoro thinks that dyson is the most talented footballer why then would you pick him last? Considering him and stanton are similar players wouldn't he, by virtue of being the most talented one be your first choice after bradley.

Where am i saying that Bradley needs bulk ? I`m saying that his body shape is not built to carry bulk. I am not questioning the boy`s obvious ability to play the game.

stantons younger age. he is almost a year younger than andrew walker who we picked up with pick 2. if he had stayed till next year he wouldda gone top 5 easily. i reckon sheedy knew his value way b4 last sat.

Walker is actually over 1 month younger than Stanton so i don't know where u got that from.

In the extract from Rohan Otway, it reads
when Dordoro was asked if he thought Bradley was the most talented in the draft he replied no.
Then it goes on to say that he
was most excited about getting Dyson so late in the draft.
Not that he thought he was the most talented just that he was a steal.

bull****, mustve been a typo on the carlton site then. said his bday was 17/5/85. none the less stanton was younger age in the draft and still wouldve been eligible for u/18 championships next year, in which really, he wouldda dominated.

there u go, i was correct. look on every draft thing u can find. andrew walkers birthdate is on the 18/5/85 (said 17 before, i was wrong!) while stantons is on the 1/5/86. i once again, restate my point.

ssshhheeeeesssssshhhh get angry, it does bode well but on the other hand that means he hasnt had time to make his full growth as a jnr and maybe thrown in to early which could have longer lasting "ramifications" in the longer term. Is he allowed to play the u/18's if he has been drafted?

And you say that I think the sun shines out of Dyson's arse

You seem to want to park yourself in Stanton's:rolleyes:
