I'd b e stoked if the Tigers could pick up Stevens, but I think Geelong will pick him up.

Oh, the points surplus from the GWS match for Greene don't convert to another pick, they get held over until the end of the draft or banked for future drafts.

Can understand why the Cats would be interested in Stephens. Selwood nearing the end and Stephens fits that mould very well

Just not sure that they'd use a first rounder on Stephens if they already can get Kemp in. If pick 14 wasn't Kemp than maybe that Worrell pick would become a Stephens.

As great as having another Pickett in and the ceiling of Williams, I can’t see us (North) picking two pretty similar players.

Was hoping De Koning would slide. O’Neill was highly rated awhile ago too so he’s really slid out

Still highly rated Bill and I've had him in the mix for North. Lack of size compared to others in the same draft range might see him slide out in the views of some recruiters.

I know he isn't youthful and you do need that investment in young talls down back because Durdin and McKay in particular haven't maybe come on as hoped yet but I'm hoping to see North get Josh Walker as a de-listed free agent.

We haven’t had much luck with key positions high in the draft (McKay, Durdin, Nielsen, Watson). Tend to have luck with late picks/bargains (Brown, Waite, Larkey, Thompson etc) so maybe Walker is the safer bet

Gould/DeKoning only ones I’ll be interested in at those picks. Rather stock up on some X-Factor players. Two of the likes of Williams/Taylor/Pickett will hopefully slip through.

If Gould/DeKoning unavailable; use pick 47 or rookie Walker

Noticed that later on after reviewing the picks again. Apologies for the oversight as I missed Melbourne's pick too.

North's 3rd pick I've allocated to Ned Cahill, considered Darcy Cassar also.

Agree with you and Billnats on Walker also. Right age profile, can lock and load him in their giving Hilder time in the seconds, surprised that North haven't already lock him away during the DFA period.

Looking ahead I think Hilder is worth a look at in the second round. Arguably the next best KPD behind De Koning

Sam Durdin hasn't come on as hoped as that KPD yet, granted he is a tall so you give him more time to develop but I'm sure North would've liked to have seen him more from him by now, maybe with Thompson now retired that window has cracked open.
