About 6'2 in the old scale and 75 kg. Comes from the Pioneers as a DPP mid/def. High production midfielder.
OK, thanks as I have been able to get a look.

Certainly what the Blues need

Pretty sure Ryan Clarke can't go twice... Or be two different sizes...

I did stipulate it was a ROUND 1 update but cheers for the feedback anyway Daddy. Would've gone unnoticed otherwise.

Will remove my previously posted Round 2 predictions while I work on them. Whats your thoughts on Balic?

Tons of talent, but slower than a pensioner at a supermarket checkout.

Would prefer Mathieson or Tucker personally.

So what picks are Gold Coast potentially dealing with at the draft this year in the top 25?

So what picks are Gold Coast potentially dealing with at the draft this year in the top 25?

I think they will get a first round compensation pick for Bennell (they should, based on his football talent) which gives them 3 first round picks.

My personal opinion is Dixon isn't worth a first round compensation so I'll hazard a guess at 3 for now. My mock is by no means all finished. Draft orders will chop and change regularly between now and the draft

In the end 2 - picks 9 and 21, they maneuvered around first round picks to allow for greater Academy points. Pick 9 I've got Harley Balic to the Suns a bit of a jack of all trades player but predominantly medium forward and pick 21 is Clayton Oliver a real stoppage specialist who took out the Morrish Medal

Updated the first 2 rounds of selection guys. Would appreciate feedback from anyone.

Just to answer a question that I'm assuming will come up I've gone early second round on Mitch Brown to the Bombers because I think he'll end up there and with a later third round pick the chances decrease he will be available there. Could have easily played 10 - 15 games for the Bombers AFL side in 2015 in my opinion.

You've got GWS taking a first round pick that they'll need to use for bidding on Hopper/Kennedy, so might want to fix that up. Similarly, the picks you have for Sydney, Brisbane in the second round will get chewed up in the bidding for Mills and Hipwood/Keays.

Good stuff otherwise. Don't mind the idea of Gresham at North.

Can't see Crows taking Tucker with their first pick, already have plenty of defenders. They need tall forwards, ruckmen and even inside midfielders. Burton, Mathieson and Oliver before Tucker.

hi getgaff, how do you rate schache compared to recent high draft pick key position forwards at the same stage? ie. mccartin, hogan, danahier, boyd. does he play similar to any current day or recent key forwards?

I like the first two selections, but not Brown that early, or Crocker at all really. Kieran Lovell fits in much better to our side IMO and if we go a KPP I'd hope it was an underage one, like McKay or Skinner. Otherwise, good job.

Cheers for the feedback. Yeh I'm assuming that second round picks for Sydney, GWS and Brisbane will be off the table due to first round academy bids but am really just following the draft order as per how it is now.

Fair call there. Part of the reason why I had Ryan Burton to the Crows at 17 as well. My theory is you can never have enough outside running backs / mids like Tucker but. Trust me he wouldn't go wasted at the Crows if he ended up there.

Thanks for the feedback eth. Like I said I thought I'd gone early on Brown as well however if you want to get him into the Bombers (which really you should be keen on) than one of those picks are essential. Won't last till next pick in the late 3rd round you'd suspect.

Adding Craig Bird to the team almost cancels out Lovell apart from Bird being more advanced in years and closer to retirement. Both smaller, inside leaning midfielders who if you picked the Round 1 team after the pre season you'd lean more towards Bird.

Whats your thoughts on Cal Ah Chee if available in the early 20s and your thoughts on an early 20's pick at Hisham Kerbatieh? A genuine small forward is an area that the Bombers need to fill

Out of the more recently drafted key forwards I'd rate him most to Tom Boyd. Powerful forward and a great mark but with the endurance tank to play as a CHF.

Skills below his knees are more likened to Boyd than Daniher as well where Daniher is more agile. Skills aren't poor at ground level but he prefers the ball to be delivered in the air not on the ground so that he can play to his aerial strength. Set shot he is more like Boyd as well, smooth and a reliable set shot.
