totally agree, thomas is the only one on there worth listening to. hutchinson and caro are to busy trying to outdo eachother and gary lyon is well just gary lyon.

We played our worst game for the year just two weeks ago. Apart from that game our smallest winning margin was 28 points.
Jolly is playing his second game after a spell
Swan has had a spell
Macaffer and Johnson are being prepared for the second half of the season. Dawes and Didak will be back.
We've had three debutants in the past four weeks with one or more to come in the next few weeks.
North are shit
We havent played Gold Coast yet to falsely inflate our percentage like every other team (twice in some cases)
We are not relying on any one player to get us over the line.

All of the above reasons signify why theres no evidence that Collingwood is peaking too soon.

Grant carries a huge rock on his shoulder about a huge amount of issues in the past. Last night, it was about Blight's attitude towards Grant. In typical Thomasspeak, he explains the reasons for the feud and then basically says that he couldnt give a toss about Blight's opinion.

As for his attitude towards Collingwood, he said that he loves how we play but wondered whether the Pies had peaked too early. Not a bad point, but I couldnt give a toss what Grant thinks ...and I think he would accept that..

This is pretty much what I think too. I like hearing from GT, but he has huge chips on the shoulder that he won't let rest. Lyon is interesting, Hutchy is stupid but is OK at times, Carro is just plain crap and talks over everyone with pointless/incorrect garbage.

I think Thomas likes the Pies/how we play, but he also obviously hates Eddie haha!

I like Grant Thomas. Doesn't beat around the bush and gets straight to the point. Doesn't make any outlandish remarks to try to be first a theory and doesn't bother with stupid trivial stuff. For example, I liked how he handled Blight's remarks about him.

When a good team has a big win against a finals contender people are quick to assume that they have peaked when in actual fact it can be a reflection of the other teams overall ability or inability to counter what the opposition is doing.

You only have to look at what Carlton did to Richmond a couple of weeks ago and what they backed it up with last weekend.

The issue of peaking can only be assessed internally. Anything anyone else says is just speculation. The club has been working to a plan set at the start of the season and like last season just because along the way we have had some big wins doesn’t mean we have peaked.

They can only hope we heaver peaked. I know that we can play better than what we did on the weekend and am looking forward to seeing their faces when it happens.

You can only beat what's put in front of you - on a dry day and when we were in peak form, the margin could well have been 150+

We've only had one true four quarter performance all year, we are giving the kids a chance to stake their claims while Premiership players are either in the twos or getting their bodies right for another finals campaign.

I actually like Grant, his opinions are normally spot on and informative. Everyone getting up in arms about his proclamation that Collingwood has peaked too early, he is merely stating something that could potentially be true, he is not saying that come finals time we are doomed.

No, Thomas actually said that his only worry is that we may have peaked and it would be difficult to sustain that level for the rest of the season. He is right. That is the only possible concern.

He made no decision as to whether we have peaked or not. You're just looking to whinge about something.

Caro, on the other hand, is a moron.

This. My only concern is that we have peaked too early and Thomas merely gave an opinion that this "might" be the case. Although with our superb coaching staff and the resting of players towards the end of the season we hopefully have one more gear left yet

I dont really care as it could be a good omen because every time Caro says something bad about the pies she generally gets it wrong and the opposite happens.... too put it simple, Caro is a peanut.....
