Davey would win by a mile hes easily the quickest in the comp

I guarantee you that James Walker would beat Davey fairly easily over 100m. As the above post says: Fast on the footy field and fast over a 100m athletic sprint are two completely different things

As a sprinter i'm a dead set hack but put a ball in front of me, goals in sight and someone chasing i seem to find an extra few seconds.

Walker is a national class sprinter, with times in the 10.4s from what i've heard. He'll win every year he goes in it i think.

Whilst James has at least got a reasonable sprinting and starting technique neither he nor any other footballer is a national class sprinter. James' pb is 10.9 hand held for the 100m at the Ballarat combined school championships.

Lovett would have to be in the top 3 quickest in the comp you would think and apparently Ricky Dyson beats him in the 100m!

Lovett is reasonable over about 60m. He won a professional footrace (70m novice) off about 7.75m but his time wasn't that great.
