MMM saying it will be a pick shuffle involving 22 and probably 35 and some picks back from GC. He said GC are happy to do this, but he didn't say what we're getting back.

I'm not sure how you interpreted it the way you have. I think a decision that all 5 coaches would vote for nobody would be extremely unlikely.
It's disingenuous to keep bringing up that he was just the best out of a very weak team.
He was ranked high in the coaches award. Meaning he was not just competing with his own team, but with all players in the league. And he did pretty well.
