Afl.com.au reporting that the Suns understand that the cats picks 19 and 22 are off limits
It'll be Pick 35. GCFC used their Pick 39 for Wigg, so may want something near that value.

As for Lang, well if the Blues get the first round picks for Gibbs they have done well, as he is getting a bit old now, and I doubt we could pinch one of those, laugh if we could. Probably their Pick 40 for him, and seems reasonably fair tbh. Unless they give us multiple pick upgrades with our earlier ones and later ones, that could be just as good.

Black would have to be the luckiest player in the AFL to still be on a list. Not sure if he is contracted. Assuming he is otherwise he'd be gone. I'd actually rather Crameri next year on a 1 yr deal than Black.

only been following the trade period with the scant attention it warrants; however if we secure Ablett, keep #19 & #22 and have bypassed Stringer Smith Watts I'll be pretty content.

Motlop free to do whatever he likes; that's the modern market and that's fine - I reckon Lang would've been a better fit with North, he'll struggle at Carlton I reckon; still, he has the potential to make it with a few breaks.

It's risky but for where we are in our window i would roll the dice on it but the club has more accurate info than we do.
Agree - might as well go all-in and take the risk if we can and maximise near term chance of premiership. Start rebuilding young depth with full set of draft picks next year and beyond.

Adding both Stringer and Ablett would give us enormous midfield / forward flexibility that we haven't had for quite some time.

Could all be wishful thinking, but I'd do it if there was a chance.
