The only people with credibility are the managers and they aren't saying much besides the obvious.Trade radio is such a waste of time really just blokes blabbering on with no substance.
Here's an idea, a bit outside the envelope I admit, get Watts signed and then send him to GC.
More than happy to offer Stringer $600k - essentially Motlop out, Stringer in - as well as pick 20 and steak knives to the Bulldogs.
He'll excel at his next club I think. He's no dud. He is someone who needs to be managed and pushed, a bit like Motlop, except that he is more versatile. We've seen glimpses of this, but not consistently enough. Let's not forget Melbourne was a basket case for Watts first 5 or 6 seasons. Wherever he goes will be his last chance, and he will be acutely aware of that.
He's a Mitch Brown/Shane Kersten type who is playing to the limit of his potential, give him a wide berth, perfect hand bag material. He's no dud. Thats outside the realms of reality and possabilityHere's an idea, a bit outside the envelope I admit, get Watts signed and then send him to GC.
A) You often need to pay more than a player is worth to get them, especially if contracted and/or another club also wants themThats more than he is worth
A) You often need to pay more than a player is worth to get them, especially if contracted and/or another club also wants them
B) He's an AA mid sized forward. Do not grow on trees.
C) We need more quality forward firepower.
600k and 2018 R1/ 2017 Pick 20. Get it done cats.
Watt is a laid back dude, perfect for the laid back Gold Coast
probably should have used a tongue-in-cheek smilie in my original post
I'd start a 4/2.4m and the 2018 first.A) You often need to pay more than a player is worth to get them, especially if contracted and/or another club also wants them

Not sure how the football world and his coach at school, Robert Shaw, got it so wrong with Watts. I'd say he has inconsistently played to his full potential because he was allowed to get away with that. Anyway, Geelong is not in the frame for Watts so we can all relax. He's a Mitch Brown/Shane Kersten type who is playing to the limit of his potential, give him a wide berth, perfect hand bag material.

8's?Watts is so laid back he should be rowing for Australia in the Woman's 4's
You think!!I am glad that the people doing the wheeling and dealing for the Cats are not Bigfooty members.

I really want him.Not sure how the football world and his coach at school, Robert Shaw, got it so wrong with Watts. I'd say he has inconsistently played to his full potential because he was allowed to get away with that. Anyway, Geelong is not in the frame for Watts so we can all relax.
Too true but they are the only ones who have the real inside info and they aren't sharing! There's an oxymoron
For all that bluster you seriously think if the Dogs refuse to cave Dodo won't stump up 11 to get him. Ok then.and all that is being offered for him by Ess may be P28 ... one has to beat their offer , but not over pay by that much
