Absolutely....I'm very Larry Emdur on Jenkins.....only if the price is right...
Same same with Steven...though he's a class above Jenkins.
You dont convince someone like JJ to come without him being convinced..he is a part of the best22
and in comparison... Its not just the player V player. JJ's history is there to see...

How many games does he play instead of a young kid. We bring in these second hand tyres ..and we know there is only so much tread left. Sure the car will drive OK for a while. The how does he fit in the side.. Hawkins and Sav.. and I want Krueger. Buzza was better if thats the case... as Krueger would obviusly get picked ..JJ might be the type we do mess around in our forwardline.

Yeah Papley but isn't Brad Hill in the middle of a very long contract too? Tells the Hawks he needs to go home then a couple of years later he wants back to Vic. Serious, imagine if Tim Kelly requested a trade to a Melbourne club in a couple of years. They're takin the piss.

Yep-it’s the new way- once they opened it to free agency this other stuff was going to happen. I get players want more choice but it’s dodgy for the comp I reckon. Pretty sure Hill is 2 years into a 5 year deal. Papley 1 year into a 5 year deal. Hill just wants to move because of his girlfriend or something-like what if they break up and he wants to go home again? Lol.

To me he didn't look off the pace when he was playing down back at AFL level, he wasn't great but he was more then serviceable.
A thing to keep in mind is teams play around 34 players at AFL level in a year, he doesn't have to be in the theoretical best 22 to contribute throughout the year. If we boot him then we'll have to use immediate resources filling in a position in the list that we'd other wise be able to ignore.
If we were to delist him, what type of replacement would you look at? trading someone in, mature aged recruit from the VFL or drafting a kid for the future.
Dan Butler for a late pick anyone? I like him. Still young.

Id take him if he was cheap but wouldn't be a walkup start to our 22 thats for sure.
Conversely look at list of years where teams drafted four players in the rookie draft and didn't win the premiership.
Reckon he’s better than Atkins. Actually kicks goals and applies forward pressure.

He is what the supplemental recruitment period is all about. No harm in keeping a rookie list spot open and inviting him for the pre-season, if he doesn't stand up we can always give a strong performer in our VFL squad a shot or hold it for the mid season draft.

So we got closer to beating Richmond than pretty much anyone when it counted. We're obviously not that far away so which type of player or players do we need to be looking to add to progress a couple of steps further.
