Calling Jenkins s**t baffles me a bit, the guy averaged 2 a game in a side that was woeful, he'd kick 40-50 for us if he stayed fit.

Laird is more than just a defender, has played well on the wing and could even end up in the midfield rotation for mine, if it's pick 10-20 to get him I'd be doing that every day of the week.

Jenkins is lazy and plays a handful of good games and no he would be lucky to get 30 goals the way our mids deliver, given his age no thanks...

So sad .... its one thing to be a hack someone with limited talent.. most of us could relate to that..but then a small percentage of people have talent..they standout amongst their piers ..and thru the steps they go .. and finaly make it to afl.. and in Paddy case .. #1 Pick KPF ..about as promising future as there is ..time will be given to develop...one of the most financial position on the ground ... and then thru this ... its over. I agree ..and in this day and time ..its not like we can say ..roll the dice ..there is too much neg about the issue. Contact sports around the world have this as a long term problem.

Speaking of Pruess, shouldn’t he be the cats target? He’s not the messiah but is youngish and has some quality attributes.
Goldstein is still a very good player and a free agent so would have been good. We need to go into next year with a different ruck option. Someone young enough that they could work to be a very good player.

I disagree. We'd push for more and rightfully so.

We have a strong case to argue the point given Kelly is much better than Hill. We'd at the minimum get 5 + 22 (Melbourne's R2 for Langdon).

In any case it won't matter as he'll get traded to his club of choice (WC).

We won't get either. He doesn't want to go to Freo and contrary to what people want to believe, he will get to his club of choice (Eagles) as an OOC player. We can't complain, we got Danger because of our location and the fact he nominated us and only us.

The jury is out as to whether he's good enough. His numbers look reasonable, but there are a lot of people out there that don't rate him. He'd be worth a shot for a late pick, but he's a very good chance of being a bust I reckon.

Where is the proof we offered a 4 year deal? And how does Goldstein deciding to re-sign with the club he has played all his games for show what he thinks of Geelong? This is one time where Scott has no case to answer....
