That's actually not half bad (for us specifically). I don't mind losing Clark if it means we get a half decent ruck/forward in Ladhams

Ladhams is ok but I'd prefer to just use Stanley until one of our younger rucks is ready. Use the trade to secure a decent pick.
I disagree. I think that if you aren’t in the window and you don’t yet have the nucleus of your next flag side, you’re trying to swing at A-grade talent whenever you can.I don't need excitement.
I need a slight list refresh that pulls the age profile down and fills some holes. Brander has enough senior action to be considered a good get at a low price. So does Ladhams ... although rumours of being a bit of a party goer may not necessarily be something we would be keen on (being moved on and given an opportunity may be a good thing though).
If they don't cost us much then worth a punt.
The excitement can come from some shrewd moves to get up the draft order and bring in some potentially exciting talent that way.
Sav won’t see much AFL action if Ladhams comes in.I'm thinking Scarlett got along best with Scarlett and bad luck to anyone that wasn't Scarlett
As much as some may not want to believe it or admit it, sounds like the best move so far this off season is Scarlett stepping down - no doubt a great player, but maybe not a great people person

You had me right up until….Paddy Dow.Who's half decent?? Ladhams?? just a younger version of Fort with the heart of a pea IMO. Rather have Max Lynch for Krueger to be honest.
Even swapping Clark for Paddy Dow to get the Cerra deal done sounds better

If you look at Melb - the premiers - they have got some interesting coaches
Allen Richardson is their Gen/Manager of football - i heard him say - this is the 8th AFL club hes been at - talk about been around the block a few times
Troy Chaplin ( who i thought was a spud - didnt the Tiger supporters call him Charlie Chaplin because of all the jittery blunders he would make ) - he is their backline coach
Another ex Tiger spud - Greg Stafford is their forward line coach
But here is the big one - and i have posted this a couple of times - this bloke should have 10 stars next to his name/resume - Adam Yze is their MIDFIELD coach - and this is his 1st year back - Well the proof is in the pudding - i know they have got sensational talent their - but their midfield is sensational - how they play - the quick movement - great handpassing the lot . Prior to the Dees - he was at Haw during their golden era - as their elite kicking backline coach - that is another huge tick on his resume
When Yze played - he was a good mover - and a lovely kick
If as you say - Scott doesnt coach next coach - then id love to have Yze as Geel coach - simply because he has got the runs on the board
Oh stop it, Paddy Dow is not an upgrade on anyone’s midfield and especially not on ours. Ridiculous comment.Has been ruined by a team that resembles a rabble to a T.
Played outta position. Played with a bunch of spuds... Desiree Pontiac Chat Brushed etc etc...
Behind the 8 ball from the day he walked into the joint.
Instant up grade to our midfield IMO.

Yes. Why would you want to start it off from your backline from a turnover and march it up the field to a congested and stagnant forward line when you can win it out of the middle and have a clear advantage because every defender is reactionary and one out at that very moment. It means that average players like Brown and McDonald end up having better outputs than elite players like Cameron and Hawkins. It means that elite intercept defenders such as May and Lever cannot support each other and end up looking like plodders. End of story. What I learned watching the GF.
The 6-6-6 setup required at every centre bounce can be exploited.
The value of a dominant Ruckman + Inside mid just went through the roof.
We don't need to recruit and entire team but we must recruit or develop a Top Ruckman
Good delivery to an average forward is better value that high ball to a great forward.
Recruit players with excellent kicking skills

Ladhams (autocorrect wanted “Lasagne”) would want to go somewhere where he is clear first banana. Won’t be here having just signed Rhys for two.
I agree unless we go out and get a top 5 ruckman who ever we put out going to have an average time, Stanley was good this year without being great and sadly had his worst game in the loss to melbRhys can play as the 3rd tall forward and backup ruckman. Trade Ratagolea.
