We should be going hard for him, as that's who we were actually looking to trade up for when we got Coop. Dunno if we'd have the collateral to satisfy Adelaide, but he'd be a great fit with Hendo probably only playing on until the end of next year

Spot on re: Hately - that really rubbed me the wrong way. Now it seems that they've got what they 'paid' for, given the kid can't even make it into the worst midfield in the comp

A decent kpd should be on the agenda but a guy who is struggling to crack the crows back 6 doesn't fill me with enthusiasm.

Could be that he just needs a change of environment but he's coming across a tad flaky for mine.

Yeah but it's hard to judge from our collective armchairs. If scarlo interviews him and says he wants him then I'm on board, give them the dons 2nd. If scarlo is a bit torn on the issue then pass. I'm happy to sit on the sidelines and trust the club.

My thinking is he a P6 , 20year old 197cm player..that has almost certainly lost value. If we could add him at a reasonable cost then he would be a very solid addition..considering the age of Blitz, Henderson etc... and that there is no certainty the SDK ends up being a defender. It seems the club likes the look of him further up the ground.

Perhaps a pick, perhaps a trade of sorts, but it's all relative. Two R1 picks forget it.

We will not know what Freddie can deliver to we see him regularly... and I have started to wonder if thats going to happen at Geelong. Im not yet convinced he is a backman but if thats who he gets games then so be it.

I suspect the addition of Cameron has made Krugers future at Geelong doubtful.

Thats true David, I do wonder what the Daniher situation , and the loss of value will do to their trade mindset.

If Ess finished bottom 5 .. would you . match a bid for Merrit ..when you are rebuilding the side?

Wells then, but scarlo is basically his equivalent of a boss so I'd still ask him
