25 - Charlie Edwards. Looks like an absolute diamond. Switched to mid late in the yr from the backline as an explosive powerful 190cm mid, with a great mark.

Exact same preferences. Have been harping on about Edwards for ages now, haha

I've had a similar cooling to him. Not exactly sure why? Just a gut feel.

He feels like a very Geelong selection. Not necessarily the standout on junior performances but clearly has a lot of talent and elite athletic traits.

I couldn't put a line through us trading back to get Wilson.. He looks like a very dynamic, fast, evasive, scoreboard-hitting outside mid (they don't grow on trees).

If we like him plenty and were able to get him + an F1 then it would be a huge result for us.

That F1 could be very handy if we are wanting to try to trade in a gun (or just to use on another good kid).

The Crows would need to absolutely be in love with one or two particular players and one of them to be avail at the time when our pick is up... Maybe OS or Caddy... Not sure but fingers crossed for that deal I reckon.

I also think Tholstrup should be in the top 10 conversation. Big hybrid mid-forward at 188cm, ready to play next year. I reckon clubs probably had questions marks over his tank, but he finished top 10 in the 2km with a time of 6m 17s. Also finished 2nd in the agility.

I think they only do a trade if it guarantees them a trade for pick 1. I think they'll need their FF to facilitate that so I assume the answer would be no.

I think it'll be 10 and 20 for 8, but largely agree that I think the Crows want that pick because they want O'Sullivan - and that we may be keen on Wilson if Sanders is gone.

Would love a retrospective look at how often pre-draft assessments of depth have played out. Seem to remember 2006 being labelled a super draft and not sure it ever lived up to that billing.
