Strong agree... An old side with no good kids (bar the obvious one) coming through getting rid of someone his age.. Suggests he isn't a good kidMaCrae is a list clogger.
Would prefer to keep Clohesy over him.
You can't have too many good players, I know some oracles here claim that we have no need etc..He has so much gravity that it would make all of our other marking talls jobs so much easier
No doubt... clearly not at the level.Strong agree... An old side with no good kids (bar the obvious one) coming through getting rid of someone his age.. Suggests he isn't a good kid

Stengle is just about the best pure small forward we have ever had. He's not going anywhere.
He used to always get up and about when we played them, good playerSexton has been delisted by the Gold Coast. He's 31 so probably a bit too past it for us, but I've always rated him

I'm in the "nothing's off the table" camp (except forcing a player out, which CS is against)...
Don't get me wrong Curnow is a great player and or the right cost it would be a great move but what it will cost us isn't worth it.
..
I'm in the "nothing's off the table" camp (except forcing a player out, which CS is against).
Maybe SNeale's evinced interest to ruck while still young, before "retiring" to the forward line. Maybe Jezza is more potent for us roaming all over the ground, whilst still finding the sticks. Maybe the prototypical rucks CS seeks, are right under our noses (SNeale and/or SDK). Maybe tenderfoots getting experience rucking is fraught with injuries whereas, importing footy-hardened
forwards/defenders into rucking is not (like using simulators to train notice pilots rather than in-situ).
All this is conjecture. But I like this left field thinking. If the Poach Brothers (Wellsy/Mack) didn't make the occasional mistake, they aren't trying hard enough.
Lastly, nothing's set in concrete. Maybe Curnow is worth throwing the rule book away for. You think SMitchell would bat an eyelid or rationalise against himself if Curnow wanted to come across?
To paraphrase the famous quote, don't look at each move for what it is but where it leads to.
Nah best thing would be the melts from the Richmond supportersProbably the best thing about bringing Curnow on board is that it would prevent say Sydney or Hawks or ? Improving a weak forward line.
As pointed out tho, by many, the timing makes it very hard to do.
That is a lot of maybes for something that would cost an arm and a legI'm in the "nothing's off the table" camp (except forcing a player out, which CS is against).

If Curnow joins Geelong without an arm and a leg I’d give it a miss. He’ll be half the player he is now. That is a lot of maybes for something that would cost an arm and a leg
Wellsy/Mack are paid to handle many maybes! If they're going after Curnow, they know more than you and I (no offence intended)That is a lot of maybes for something that would cost an arm and a leg
Did today show why we are looking for Curnow. Neale got a long way to goWe won't be getting curnow this year, but would not surprised if we end up getting him cheap next year.

our midfield was awful. Why blame the guy in the end of the poor delivery??????Had a total of 14 possessions 2 marks and 3 goals for the final series. Thats 3 games. Had to compete and step up when Jezza got hurt but got owned by Andrewsour midfield was awful. Why blame the delivery??????
Just from actual delivery of performance we are woefulHad a total of 14 possessions 2 marks and 3 goals for the final series. Thats 3 games. Had to compete and step up when Jezza got hurt but got owned by Andrews
With the delivery he was getting Curnow wasn't going to do a lot better. Whats Curnow doing with that ball where Blicavs strolled through the middle of the field and kicked it straight to Andrews? We really have people on here arguing neale is better than curnow. Hilarious
