Mark Jackson kicked 115 goals in just 31 games for Geelong, not a bad return for a forward playing in a team which was middle of the road.

A bit harsh on Stephen O'Reilly, he was a gun when playing for Geelong. If you're looking for disasters, maybe Stephen Hooper would be a better bet.

Also agree with Scouse Cat about Jacko, he may have been a lair and a d*ckhead, but as a footballer he did alright, and he got punters through the turnstyles at a time when Geelong was in financial strife.

Arnott was a good player.He was treated bloody awfully in his last year.

I was just talking to an Eagles fan and I remembered Andrew MacNish came across from the West in around 1992. He kicked 5 goals against Brisbane in a game so I decided to leave him out. He was an absolute shocker though wasn't he??

Being a bit harsh on Stephen Handley & Derek Hall....

My recollection of Handley is that he was the gumby Mooney of his day, while I'd maybe give Hall a reprieve if he had been able to kick straight.

Re blokes like Darcy, Schulze, Merriman, Tim Bourke etc; I tried to focus on trades and recycled recruits from other clubs rather than local battlers. Maybe the locals can have their own dream team?

I thought I'd choose a dream team of players who played for another club as well as Geelong. I've limited it to players from the last 20 years and I tried to pick a team that would be exciting to watch if nothing else.
