i thought that line didnt make sense. why ask if it was a lady thing when second before they carried mcarthy??? shouldve been race or weight.

also, this trailer just confuses me even more. they keep saying its not a remake or a continuation, but they show the ghostbusters logo on a wall with something about 30 years ago, and now the stay puff marshmellow man. also we have secondary characters being possessed and unleashing ghosts. i just dont know wtf to make of it.

Using animated movies or TV shows turned into live action movies in the 90's is hardly a comparison to a remake/reboot of Ghostbusters.

On the other hand the 90's saw The Mummy, Godzilla, Psycho, Cape Fear, Night Of The Living Dead, The Thomas Crown Affair... Flubber. And that's not taking into account the flavour of the decade of remaking foreign films.

However, one thing was true about all of the above... they were faithful. This is something not commonly seen in today's remake and that is where Leo's point stands firm.

Just seems like a kids/teen movie that will be released for the school holiday crowd. It will probably do alright at the box office.

Were there any rules on lifespans for mogwais? As long as Gizmo stuck to his strict eating plan and kept dry, he may look no different.

I'd be happy for this if it was a direct sequel, no doubt. Gremlins 2 was hideously underrated, an updated title with that sort of satire and self awareness would be great, for mine.

Not in movie land. And I'd hazzard a guess that Ghostbusters merchandise brought in more money than the Flintstones ever did.

Being a kid in the 80's there was a period in time where you couldn't go anywhere without someone wearing some kind of Ghostbusters apparel. Then there was the sales of the Ghostbusters song on vinyl and cassette. Film clip was massive hit too.

It was huge back in the day.
