I will not be seeing it because the casting and the writing looks trash, just like I don't see many male orientated movies for the same reason.

If the writing appealed to me and the cast was actually funny then f*** yeah I'd see it!

Cast Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Ellen DeGeneres and Jane Lynch as the mains and I'm there.

Usually the guy maintains their composure and dignity. Women turn in to a blabbering toddler. It's definitely the whole "look, a tall, dark, handsome, muscular man! Women everywhere drop their bundle for him"

It's in how the scene is handled. Hemsworth walks in, women is instantly mesmerized. Not exactly Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver.

Sorry, no. It started long before the trailers came out.

It started long before the female cast was announced. The whole anti-woman thing has been way overplayed. Its just another shitty, cash-grab remake of a classic that in this instance is more beloved than most. Why would anyone be surprised or question the negative reaction to it? Whats to like? Most predictable sh1t ever.

You make a Ghostbusters movie with anyone except Murray and Akroyd and you're on a hiding to nothing, and the time for doing that is long past. Its not a sexist thing, its just that those blokes ARE Ghostbusters.

FWIW there are plenty of examples of same goes the other way, say for example if they tried to remake the original Alien(s) with a new young male Ripley. Just wrong.
