Spent the week in Perth, my 9yo niece is a Fever fanatic, she got to be one of the ball girls on Friday night, got signatures and "officially" high fived the players as they ran on, she was beyond excited and cemented on to them for life
Seeing her passion helped me realise that bringing the Giant's netball team to life was a masterstroke and will undoubtedly help us smash the incredibly resistant Sydney market for the brand.

Netball not my thing but the particpation rates are incredible. It probably does more for the health of the community than any other sport. This partnership between Netball and the AFL, while not entirely new (eg. Swifts-Swans), will work both ways. I had not been following Netball in any way for many years. Now I am getting back into it and watching games on the tele. Who knows, might even get to game or two.
