If we're getting a 2018 second coming back this way I like it. One would have thought that would be top 25 and potentially in Rozee/Hateley territory
You must think Rozee and Hately are going to have ordinary years in 2018 because at this stage both would be right in 1st round discussions.

Highly rated South Australians. They all end up at least 5-10 spots lower over the course of their drafting year.

EDIT - come to think of it, Gibbs might be the last bloke who held his value from age 16.5 to 17.5

Trengove, Toumpas and Day all held their value. It wasn’t until after the draft their value dropped.

12 + 16 with a second round back next year might not be terrible this years draft is very weak
For the umpteenth time this years draft at the top end [10 & 16] is NOT very weak and there will be very decent prospects still on the table at those picks

But Carlton approached us so we should have the upper hand
This is about what I expected.

Carlton "I told you we would get two first round draft picks"

Crows "We have given them pick 12 for Gibbs. In other news we have swapped this years end of first round draft pick for a pick at the start of round 2 in next year's superdraft." :D

Heard WC list manager say today that its a fallacy this years draft is weak, and the top 20 are very strong.
you reckon Fogarty will be avail at 10? and what your thoughts on a fair deal for gibbs?

If we give up 2 first rounders we're hopeless. Dead set muppets.
All depends and IMO we need to look at the overall transactions to balance out the net effect

Lever deal is a big tick
Getting 12 back for Charlie would be a big tick
Getting a future 2nd round pick back from Carlton would be a small tick
