A lot to like about his year, heaps of consistency and proved the doubters (myself) wrong. Good stuff :thumbsu:

Think we'll have a few more inclusions next year if guys like Rowe, Yarran and Menzel can really assert themselves on the competition and stay on the park.

But this is about Gibbs, well done lad :D

Bryce Gibbs, Carlton. Never Previously All Australian. 22 games in 2014. 308 kicks, 89 marks, 237 handballs, averaging 14.0 kicks, 4.0 marks, 10.8 hand balls. 18 Goals, 15 Behinds. 124 Clearances (Tenth in the AFL), 91 Inside 50m(Tenth in the AFL), 38 Rebound 50m. 108 Tackles.

Deserved it's own thread.

Well bloody done Gibbs.

Remember the critics after round 2 v Richmond? :P

He's all ours for 5 years. Enjoy your payday Gibba ;)

Heck of a player and all ours :hearts::hearts::hearts:

Sorry Adelaide, he's a Blue boy through and through and I've believed that for some time. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but he just seems to be a Carlton lad, against all odds perhaps.

Giiibbbsssssyyyyyyyy! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

I love it when the ball in his hands, I know something good will come of it, especially when he strolls inside 50 for goal.

And when he dishes the ball out from in and under packs its justtttt mjgftdutfiygiydgdi I don't have words to describe it.

Will poll pretty well in the Brownlow I would've thought.

#heisoursforanother5years :thumbsu:

Did my All Aust team before and it came down to Bryce or Rockcliffe for the last bench spot, purely on stats Rockcliffe had to get the nod.

If I looked back at my old posts involving him I'd definitely cringe.

Has reinvented himself in the midfield after a strange 2013 season, and seasons beforehand that consisted of him being very much an outside player.

Never saw him having the toughness and workrate to be an elite midfielder who can win his own ball.

Proud of ma' boy! Onya Gibbsy - just deserts for a brilliant year. Should back this up with your John Nicholls Medal later this week.

Seeing Eddie Betts and Sam Jacobs in the All-Australian squad is aggravating. I wish both were still at the club.

If Carlton had them instead of Warnock and Lucas/Robinson the club would be in a better place.

The trading and the situation with the free agency is a sham. Eddie should have been a one club player.

But well done Gibbs on making the squad. It would be a just reward if you made the final team.
