Bryce Gibbs should not be included in this as he has not yet played a game and hasn't had the chance to justify why he was picked up at number one.

So the order is

Marc Murphy>>>>>>Cooney>>>>>>>Goddard>>>>>Delidio

Adam Cooney.

Marc Murphy has played 13 games - It will take more than that for him to overtake Cooney, who has been a matchwinner for a couple of years now.

Murphy & Gibbs could be in a couple of years time, but my (slightly biased) opinion is Cooney.

30+ possies & 5 goals against Adelaide last year was phenominal.

His Q4 against Brisbane in 05 was one of the most dominant quarters of football I've ever seen anyone play. 6 or 7 clearances in a row is just plain scary.

I think you should jump back under that rock you came from!!!
Not really when I replied the poll options were not up yet has happened before when I have made polls and the thread is seen before I finish doing the poll choices. But this sort of poll has also been done a number of times in the past as well.

Also only one of them has won the AFL Rising Star award so on that basis Deledio has been the better player.

Yes you are very biased. Cooney has been the best thus far by a country mile. But Goddard is starting to realize his potential. Gibbs - N/A.

A pity Cooney didn't start as well as Murphy who hit the ground running in his first season. Murphy's first 13 games were better than that of any other draftee in recent history and he has the wood on them all after one season.

IIRC one BF "draft expert" got into an argument with one Bluesfan and said Murphy would struggle to kick a goal from fifty metres and be exposed by being dragged back to the last line of defence. :D

Interesting day for this poll - Murphy (a gun, clearly) closing the gap on Cooney, yet Cooney adding inside midfielder to his bag of tricks. I had Cooney in my top 5 doggies today.

Cooney and Murphy will be very good players, Goddard is finally starting to show his potential.
Deledio is average atm, and so is the horse named after him.
Need to wait and see on Gibbs atm.

And how are you today after the Blues win?..
Reasonably content, but we should have won that one by well over 40 points. We really need to look beyond beating ordinary sides like Richmond. What is nice is that the Blues talent level is so high now, we only need to turn it on for a quarter or two to really mess up sides like the Tiges. :)

Hey parrot sorry to change the subject, just wondering what your thoughts are on Mitchell Brown. Reckon he'll be a good player? :)

Why are you asking parrot?

Cooney was a star yesterday, one of the reasons why the dogs dominated. For me it's Cooney, more damaging than Goddard and ATM more developed than Murphy, Deledio and definitely Gibbs.

ATM, Cooney by a street. Murphy will be a good player who stands out in a crap team.

Gibbs, much too soon to say. He's played 1 game now FFS but if you believe the crap emanating from certain posters he'll singly handedly cure cancer, solve world hunger and cure Carlton's financial woes by selling the loaves and fishes he miraculously generates.
