Gil McLachlan - openly cheering for teams. Acceptable?

AFL should hire someone who has no emotional attachment and run the league solely as a soulless business. That’d be good for the game.

He wasn't cheering for the Dogs, he was cheering for being mates with Chris Hemsworth. I would too.

fmd...

If Thor tried to give the OP a high-five I doubt the latter would be able to hide his boner.

Yeah it's utterly disgusting he would be seen being thrilled about a Bulldogs win when he hasn't lifted a finger to help out the team he actually supports - St Kilda.
Time to give the Saints some benefits Gilligan

Like give you a ceo?

He did say the Bulldogs winning the 2016 flag was his greatest sporting moment.

Just a continuation of that really and in return the dogs wore that marketing jumper nightmare to give a little back. Lots of warm and fuzzies all around was inspired stuff.

Sydney just need to be better

Eh, he was working and playing to the room.

Probably triggers a bonus for him if Matt Damon mentions the AFL on Kimmel

Probably prefer the current ceo giving a high 5 than his predecessor supporting by giving certain teams more cap room disguised as cost of living allowance...

You'd find the GF deal unacceptable too ..... can you rationalise that but deny the developing States a free kick.

Late in the final quarter of the bulldogs game with the game on the line, the bulldogs kicked a goal to seal the game. The camera went to a shot of the AFL’s CEO celebrating and high fiving bulldogs fans.

Is this really appropriate for the CEO to be seen publically barricking for a team?

Obviously this is not the first time he has shown favouritism, (eg. his tea parties), is this just something that will always be the case?

Or would a CEO who was not as part of the boys club as the current one potentially lead to less outward shows of bias?

Or do you think it is fine for the AFL’s CEO to openly barrick for some teams and I’m making a mountain out of a molehill?

It would explain the umps handing us the GF win over your lot

Game had rigged written all over it before the first bounce. Marvel and Chris Thor Hemsworth are above the AFL and pulled some strings no doubt about it.
