Adam Gilchrist will front the ICC later this week after an incident in the Australia - Sri Lanka semi final. Gilchrist blatantly refused to accept the umpires decision on a bat-pad catch appeal, walking off the ground in spite of the umpires call for him to stay.
An ICC spokesman said "The decision of the umpire is sacrosant and we can't allow the good name of cricket to be undermined by players behaving in this manner, and thinking they can do the job better than the umpire. The umpire is, after all, in the best position to see what happened."
