The system makes it hsrd to address this with out10s of k $ for legal fees and if their is any conflict, even if it is caused by the woman it will damage mans chances of having more time with their kids. This is toxic feminine behavior, and does cause suicides,

At risk of derailing the thread, that all depends on what 'Alpha' is. Society has changed so profoundly in the last 25 years or so, that the Alpha Male today takes on different characteristics than what would be expected of the mid-late 20th century.

And humans are not single community animals. We have work, family, social, sporting, hobby, geographic, and other communities. Dozens of different communities within BigFooty itself.

I agree, I think the perception of the alpha male drifted with the action hero slowly getting more and more unattainable. See early Rambo compared to late Rambo. But that is just the outward appearance of alpha masculinity, it has gotten further away from what a man might actually roll out of bed looking like.

Combine this with a culture that judges you on how you look, because that's faster and easier than getting to know you, and you have a recipe for men who wouldn't be considered masculine or "alpha" trying to redefine what it is to be a man to more in line with what they can contribute.

If you listen to what the current accepted definition of an "alpha male" is, it's someone who goes to the gym 7 days a week to get really big muscles and then posts shirtless pictures of themselves online for other dudes to gawk at.

Thing is though that even though many women claim to love the dad bod, they still probably fell for lots of gym dudes like that from 16 - 25 and validated the lifestyle of those males.

Those people are usually aggressive personalities as well, which is good because most young women still want to be chased and approached first.

Character traits and earning power are always ranked higher than physical attributes when it comes to what women want in a long term relationship. A guy who is tall and ripped but is a dumbass who earns 30k a year is going to do a worse job of being a protector than the short guy who is ambitious and successful and has more access to financial resources. Women wanting a guy taller than them is understandable, but they tend to not place as much emphasis on beauty as guys do.

Which is why it's weird so many guys place so much importance on getting shredded. The hot blonde at the bar may go home with you when she sees your muscles, but she ain't gonna stick around once she realises you're an uninteresting loser. A lot more to being "alpha" than just sitting in the gym your whole life.

As a 6'3 guy with reasonable intelligence and reletively low income, i can confirm these traits are handy first thing most women want to confirm on internet dating is the height. If you can seem normal and funny and not creepy, its pretty easy to meet lots of nice ladies. The young ones or otherwise non independent ones are usually more interested in the income.
