Ginnivan subbed on for Bobby Hill

Ok. Bear with me. It "looked" very much like Ginnivan went on the field as Elliot had come off the field. My first thought was Elliot was injured and being subbed off. But a minute or so later Hill comes off and the commentators announce he is being subbed out. Now "IF" this sequence of events is accurate as im not 100% certain of it is it within the rules or not?

Now it had no impact on the game. Not saying that. Just thought it was weird. Also not sure if this was main board worthy either.

It's a fair point and I reckon you've given some Fox analyst an idea for a 2 minute segment on AFL 360.

Yup, Collingwood should have had their score reset to 0 at that point. /jk

It is likely against the rules if that is the chain of events. Definitely shouldn't be happening but nothing surprises me with the AFL

I can explain. Hill came off and replaced by another player on the bench. Hill was then subbed off and replaced by Ginnivan. But Ginnivan can't get on the field until another player comes off which was Elliot. Does that clear up the confusion?

That looks about right I think. It just didn't seem this way when I first seen it. It looked like ginni went on for Elliot.
