I'm for it, but Tex deserves a run too.

Insert any other midfielder for Davis, O'Bree and Lokan. McGough never deserved to be dropped, Shakleton has earned a spot (although he's not up to it long term) and Mullins looks like Brett Kirk in terms of accountability when pitted against Leon!

I've lost patience with Leon. Mullins for Leon and McGough for O'Bree. Not sold on Shak but deserves a go. Lokan to make way. I'd leave Buckley forward and play Burns back for most of the year now. We need to get serious midfield games into Swan, Mullins and McGough and we need to let BJ lead the midfield. He is the bloke we need to groom as the clutch man for when Bucks and Burns miss and when they retire in a couple of years. I would lighten the load on Licuria and keep our 3 a choice midfielders in good shape for a huge pre season. Let the young blokes carry the load and see what they've got. At the end of the year someone has to go.

This weeks lineup against the doggies

B: Richard Cole ~ Simon Prestigiacomo ~ James Clement

HB: Rhyce Shaw ~ Tristan Walker ~ Julian Rowe

C: Ben Johnson ~ Scott Burns ~ Shane Woewodin

HF: Tarkyn Lockyer ~ Jason Cloke ~ Ryan Lonie

F: Leon Davis ~ Josh Fraser ~ Matthew Lokan

FL: Steven McKee ~ Nathan Buckley ~ Paul Licuria

INT: Brodie Holland ~ Nick Maxwell ~ Dane Swan ~ Shane O'Bree

I've been on the Justin crow bandwagon for ages, Yes he should get a game but he is still a rookie so. Having said that, Tex will come in for Wakelin, ne money.

I dont know about you but I couldnt stand the humiliation of losing to the doggies and thats exactly what will happen if a player runs out there with the number 38 on his back

If Walker plays again then I will boycott matches that he is involved and if he aint delisted i will renew my AFL membership without club support because I cannot support a club with that no talent big piece of crap that has done nothing and will do nothing for the club

Nothing wrong with Walker. He'll play 100 games for Collingwood at CHB. Just needs time to learn how to use his massive frame better.

I'd definitely play Crow, Shackleton and Brayden Shaw before the year's out. Others like Hall, Morrison and H Shaw will have to wait until 2005. I'd also make sure Mullins gets some more games. Agree with Mark, you've got to not only play the kids but you've got to run them all day in the centre.

.

Yeah but not on planet earth he won't.

Tell me one game in senior footy where he has excelled?
He is another Kinnear, good at VFL level but cannot make it at senior level. He is young enough to be trade bait, maybe back to WA with Leon for a second or third round pick.

Crow is another story. If he was elevated to the senior list he is worth a game

He still developing. Needs at least another year.

Tell me one game in senior footy where Mal Michael excelled for Collingwood. Tell me how good Presti was in his first three years. Tell me he wasn't a total spaz.

Mal Michael played many fair games for us. He was regularly in our better players. I accept that at that time out team was crap but he still played well.

Presti was always reasonable.

Since you raised the comparrisons.
Compare Walkers number of games to Presti or Mal Michaels number of games after the same amount of time at the club.

Not even close.

I don't think Walker is developing, I think he is at or about as good as he will get.
Still time or trade/delisting will tell.

Obviously Walker's played less at an early stage because Michael and Presti played in crap sides. No doubt Walker's 2004 has been disapponting and I can see why Pie fans are so harsh on him. But Richards and C Cloke have also played less than Michael and Presti did - because we have had the luxury of giving these guys plenty of time in the twos.

But we can argue all day. Time will tell, and for the Pies sake I hope I'm right and you're wrong.

Walker was always a longer term prospect. From day one it was clear he was a good athlete with no football brain. I was amazed at how people said he had a good debut. He was murdered by Richo. Had 1 goal 6 been 6 goals 1 we wouldn’t have seen Walker again for a long time. He has to learn how to play football. As I said at the start of the year in a thread on here, forget about Walker. He is a good future prospect because he has the physical assets to be sensational. However he is a crap footballer right now. If you want to see a real footballer without the athletic advantages watch Cameron Cloke.

Having said that, I don’t mind bringing Walker on a bit faster by playing him in the seniors for the rest of the year since we can’t make the finals. I would play him at CHB for the rest of the year on the understanding that he will get beaten more often than nit buy a smart CHF but hopefully he display some athletic ability and learn more about how to read the game and where to position himself and when to use his athleticism.

Getting back to the topic Crow would have to be a better backup ruckman than Mckee. In the second half last week week all Mckee did was stand there and allow Charman to jump all over him. Watching Willi two weeks ago against Port Crow was a standout in the ruck. Put CC on long term injury list and promote Crow so he can play back up ruckman to Josh.

Well good because I don't want to be associated with people that have this kind of mindset.

I bet you didn't turn up on Saturday night as well.

Actually I was there as no talent bums like Walker, Kinnear and Williams werent playing

If you accept that mediocrity in the playing list then good on you but by now it is obvious that none of them are going anywhere and MM needs to cut his losses if the pies are to climb up the ladder next year and having Walker holding a place on the list wont help the club grow

Give Crow a go, Morrison, Hall anyone but tried useless pieces of trash like Walker

Crow's too skinny (although he deserves a chance), and Morrison and Hall cant even hold down a regular spot in the Willy seniors yet. The younger players on the list (especially the talls) require patience.

Including Walker.

Thank God people like you aren't in charge of the club. You have no idea how long it takes to develop footballers and the ups and downs along the way. Tony Shaw had the same mindset as you, thats why the Rocca brothers careers went backwards - they got benched (or dropped) every time they made a mistake.

Give the kid a go!

Theres Everything to gain and Nothing to lose but a chance to play finals footy, I think one more loss and we're out for good!

Back to the topic, Give the #47 a go.

And one more thing, I'm jumping on the JC Bandwagon.

No, No, No!

I've never seen Anthony Rocca go off after a mistake! He may not be at his best but he can take marks, kick long goals and can play anyway, and he caen also captain a team!

Not that anything to do with the Crow topic!
