In view of the universal desire to ditch Kingsley, I'm going out on a limb here ...
How about giving him one final chance at a half forward flank. He does have good speed and is (in spite of inconsistent goal kicking) not a bad short pass (made two pin points on Saturday, in an otherwise shocker). His leading from HFF could open up the forward line a bit. Would be good to see if he had the stamina around half forward/wing. And tackling. And attitude. If doesn't show then ... least we tried!

Definetly got a valid point. There's no doubt Kinglsey plays his best football pushing up the ground.

Due to our lack of forward resources, he has had to play the goalsquare role.

It's a fair point to raise, and a different option. But after considerable thought on the matter..........

No.

He's a weak, soft, pathetic, dud. To the seconds with him!

Not a bad suggestion. If Bomber wants to show faith in Kent and keep him in the team, surely it can't be at FF. Let him do the one thing he's good at, which is lead. I've thought for a while it would be worth trying him in a Chris Tarrant style role, leading up to the wings and presenting a target coming off half-back.

I have my doubts though. Based on recent performances, I'm not sure he has the fitness or the work ethic to play such a role. And I'd have to disagree with the earlier post re his short kicking, he seems to miss an awful lot of targets when he tries to pinpoint a pass into the forward line. To be fair, he might do better not kicking to such a congested area, but its not something I would want to rely on.

In short, probably worth a try. But even if it solves the question of what to do with Kent, we still have the problem of who to play at FF.

I've been saying this since Season 2004. The guy is lightning quick and could provide valuable targer around half-forward/wing, however Kent has had his hance this year.

Do it in the reserves and maybe he'll be back in a couple of weeks!

No way, Kent has had his turn. He should be dropped.
If Geelong continue to loose and end up having no hope of getting into the top 8 then I'd think more about playing Kent at the half forward role. I doubt this position would suit him. He already struggles under pressure and his decidion making is shonky so playing him up the field could be... not good.

I thinks its all in his head, he is a confidence player, when the side is playing well he is, send him back to the magoos to get some form. We all know he can play the game, remember he kick 60 odd goals last yr. Lets hopne big Nath can kick a kick and play like he did against west coast last year.

Kingsley is a dud. He will not shoot for goal from 45 metres out. He has freely stated "there's more to life than footy". While I agree, it's not the most inspiring thing your team's underperforming full-forward could say. He can't mark in a pack, or over his head. He won't mark in front of his body on the lead. He barely chases and he's fecking useless at ground level. He genuinely thinks if he kicks 2 goals he's done his job. There is no swagger or arrogance to say "When I'm on I will kick 10 and destroy you". He should be like Matty Richardson - when inside 50, do not pass. He's meant to be the team's spearhead and therefore responsible for kicking goals, but he shirks away from them.

Too many chances. Delist him.
