Believe if the truth be known BS that Mr Brain gave it away himself. I think Tommy decided that 20 years was enough and it was time for someone else to have a go. Does take a bit of work to put an article together and to do it non stop for 20 years deserves some credit as the Hornet said......

20 years straight - fine effort. I've reached year 5, and don't think I've got another 15 in me.

I think Tom Brain will still contribute to the 'Amateur Footballer', but only for the State/Representative matches later this year, seeing he's in charge of that area on the Board and would need to put in the match reports. So, I don't think we have read the last of T.Brain!!

Listened to Tommy this morning on the footy show, was a great interview with his mate Stevo. Well done TB, super stuff!! Crownies2, when you see TB next, can you tell him he needs to kick some heads re the VAFA website, very poor indeed, cant even get the scores on.

NO WAY!!!

Tommy would have made sure to mention his long time partner-in-crime, the great KB.
I will however check his reasons for not continuing when he is a guest at our luncheon this week.
