Glad Frank's in charge?

Well. It's all over the place down at Catland this week!

Lot said about leadership recently. I can't think of a better person to lead GFC than Frankie C. This is the man for the moment - I really admire the guy and his strength of character.

If Frankie is behind BT, then that is good enough for me. I loved what he had to say yesterday about this club not imploding.

All power to Frankie as he seeks to hold the club together.

The question is, however, should he be a bit more proactive re the playing side of things, or are his hands tied due to the restrictions on all the AFL clubs such as draft, etc.

Good call, couldn't agree more. Doesn't seem like he's gonna give in to any pressure - I hope it stays that way. Geelong are somehat in unfamiliar territory because of with what we did when Bomber started, so no use backing out now because of a bad few weeks, when we've still got years ahead of us. I also thought it was great what he said about not imploding.

Personally I think him keeping out of the playing side of things is a good thing. As he pretty much said, he's not an expert with that side of things, so he'll leave it to the experts. That's a good attitude to have in this situation I reckon.

I think we're going to be able to handle this 'current' situation pretty well because we are very united from an administration point of view. No rash decisions will be made, where as some clubs panic at times like this.

If we lose this weekend all the back-slapping and pro bomber reteric will count for squat!!!

Frankie has done his bit turning this club around and part of that was hiring a coach who would build up and nurture young talent. Unfortunately that won't win you flags if you don't have the tactical and motivational skills to go along with it.
