I was spewing and swearing loudly at first, thinking it would be Rocca or Buckley( or someone who could actually kick a set shot for goal) who would be stepping up to the plate.
Then a huge sigh of relief........yippee!!!!!...it's Molloy!!!
Don't get me wrong.....Jarrod is quite a nice chap actually and I for one, don't hold any grudges against him.
It's just that I KNEW from watching hin taking set shots when he was playing for us, that he was 100-1 on to completely stuff that shot for goal.
Molloy is just about the WORST set shot for goal of any forward in the AFL.
On a slippery, windy day on an angle, from 40 metres he was LARRY NO CHANCE! Molloy has absolutely no penetration with his set shots. They go about 35 metres long and about twice as high!!!!
Didn't let me down either!
