NSW Gladys Berejiklian in trouble. Part 2

11000 active cases in NSW of which more than half are still under investigation, and she wants to open up when the 6m jab mark is reached?! What is she going to open? The restaurants? Bars? The eastern suburbs? Talk about dividing the public! If I were from the west I'd be ******* pissed off.

Can’t wait for “the woman who saved Australia” 2.0 narrative from the media over the next few weeks/months.

You know it’s going to happen.

What do you think of people who "wheel out" the stolen generations issue? To borrow your phrase.
Well it depends

If they are marginalised folk living from day to day with poor health outcomes, limited life expectancies, raging alcoholism and drug issues - id say wheel it out.

If they on the other hand they were one of the most powerful men in the country on an income that dwarfs 90+ % of the population and if they get voted out of office tomorrow they will have a nice big fat pension for life that most of us would enjoy as a salary.

If they had worked very hard to undermine the very state they are supposed to be representing and are now desperately trying to use a historical calamity to hang on to a position that they could have held on to by simply representing their constituents rather than spruiking ideology….

Then id say no thats pretty rank.

Always baffles me that people like you need something explained to them that anyone with any sort of intellectual curiosity could figure out in a heartbeat for themselves.

Theres something missing from you that prevents you making the link.

Perhaps you need a “jenny and the kids”

So the Doctor says "we need to get the case numbers down and that is our focus"

Gladys says "we need to stop focusing on the case numbers and concentrate on hospital admissions"
Do we really need to point out that the two are linked? More cases in the community leads to higher hospitalisation numbers?

Gladys Butterchicken again not thinking he spin through properly.

They'll 100% "leak" to the media about some potential restrictions that could be relaxed and sit back to see what reaction it gets.

It's not going to be anything spectacular though. It'll be you can meet another family outside, get a haircut (because that's her thing) and maybe visit the zoo.

311k tests in the last 24 hours.

171k actually (311k - 140k backlog of negatives)

'There were 311,083 COVID-19 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day’s total of 206,193.

Around 140,000 of these tests form part of a now cleared backlog of negative results which were unable to be processed on the day they were notified.'

Sort of indicates some big case numbers in coming days

Why do you lot keep on taking the reported numbers on face value, without looking at or for the disclaimers before jumping to unbelievable conclusions?

Especially when the reported numbers do not pass the pub test, and are obviously including some backlog or changes to testing processes

Gladys and Morrison are taking the easy road. As usual. When it all blows up they will hide behind it being inevitable anyway.

And blame the damage on Labor mismanaging the State Health systems, to attempt to blow away the natural advantage that Labor usually has, or is perceived to have over the LNP when it comes to political Health issues.

so according to this there are only one countries above 80% ( Malta), Im talking fully vaccinated

According to this there are two ( Malta and Gilbrator)

this has the chance to to backfire spectacularly on Gladys and Morrison if we run into a huge wall and hover around 60% come late sept/oct and cant move the needle towards 80%
