I joined the Social Club in 1979-80.
I used to get great value for money...not anymore.
Why should I pay $900 to be a member & when my team is playing, I go down to my club to have a beer & watch the footy...but I have to fork out another $55 ??
I'm happy to pay for my drinks & some food if I'm feeling peckish.
But $55 up front...they can jam it.
I am seriously considering stopping my membership next year.
Greed is bad.
We receive nothing as Social club members.

Just received an email regarding Dinner with the players.

Enjoy a good old fashioned Collingwood footy night at the magnificent Glasshouse.
Watch the team go through their paces on Olympic Park Oval and enjoy a great meal with loads of fun and entertainment from a panel of players post training.
Includes a two course meal with drinks at bar prices.
Training: 6.00pm
Dinner: 6.30 for 7.00pm

Seems pretty good value to me.

You are missing that the Sydney game....and most collingwood interstate games are on free to air, hence your not even paying for a foxtel game

back in 1980, what did social members get for away games? Pies were the away team at Windy Hill, your social club membership entitled you to what exactly!??
