Glenn Archer - Overrated?

It may just be me but Archer doesn't seem to do a lot on the field but occasionally will do something special like a smother or a spoil. The best thing about Archer is that he is a great leader and and is an inspiration to North Melbourne.

See this is where it overshadows his skills. If you ever noticed and watched glenn, you would see that arch has a great kick on both sides of his body. This is what people dont know. His off field work and his courage overshadows this. He is definately not overated and is definately a champion.

The comment that initiated my response said that NO Collingwood player since the start of Archer's career has been a better player.
I think that Buckley has been a far superior player and most would agree, even allowing for anti-Collingwood bias.
I have a great admiration for Archer the man but do believe he has been grossly overrated as a footballer.
Many North supporters truly believe that no player in the history of the game can hold a candle to Archer in regards to courage and that is clearly a myth.
Like I've said previously, Archer is up there with the best (re:courage) but is looking down from his exalted position alongside many players.
