Can't understand why you'd be disappointed that Melbourne lost as either - surely it's a good thing that you may still finish above them and avoid the spoon.

KS whilst I definitely dont want the wooden spoon it was a real possibility that Freo could have finished last and only had the 3rd pick in the draft....the eagles victory in some way restored some order into the diabolic farce that is the PP draft pick.

Inverse of that, I can tell you I'm cheering Melbourne on (except next week of course ) for the same reason. It's not a Weagles thing for me, it's teams loosing those PP's so we slide up a bit and get a better crack at the cream of the draft.
