At the very least the one thing we should all be able to agree on is that the ball was above post height when it went across the line. That's surely not even in dispute. The footage from the ARC system would not even be close to possible if the ball passed the line 1-2 metres below the goalpost.

Therefore clearly the second photo is whilst the ball is still on its way to the goal post.

Since half the ball is blocked out from the post it can’t be on the way. The arc reviewed a ball that was already past the line.

I mean that's not the rule but then again you do think a video showing the most obvious goal in AFL history shows a behind so I can't expect much.

This is the goal ump - he was still running into position when the ball was past the post. It's not like he was planted directly next to the post and watching it sail over his head. The fan's Twitter video confirms this too.
