Re: Cool Sim Site

How about this, I leave my custom equip

50 spd, 38 agility, 33 vision, 22 carry and 20 catch

Sell feet back, and change to carry
Add +1 for all default equip to carry
Boost; 4 carry, 1 vision

48 spd, 38 agility, 34 vision, 32 carry and 20 catch
You have a winner.

Re: Cool Sim Site

Why not adjust custom? Like I said, better to do it before the lvl 16 boost comes, because then you can add another +1 to elusive after you've re-done the current one to have +1 elsuive. You wont miss a beat.
Because atm, I don't have enough FP to buy it back :(

You can't add another +1 to the elusive tree can you? All it says is once you reach level 8, you can add it.

Re: Cool Sim Site

If Marklar is around, I'd strongly suggest he do the same as well. Look to sell back his default and assign them to carrying, and find a way to have the same sort of balanced effect with speed around 45+, agility around 38, vision 38, and carrying 30+.

Re: Cool Sim Site

First stage complete for me, sold back +2 speed, and bought +2 carrying.

Just need to wait for lvl 16 now, to add +8 carrying in total, and +1 vision :D

Should be in two games time.

Re: Cool Sim Site

In fact, I'm also in the process of going thru all my players who are level 8 or higher and re-asigning their equipment to improve them.

I already did it with Lee, taking his 56 speed to 50 and taking his 15 carrying to 21. Which makes sense if he's returning kicks.

Also, after learning about how TACKLING is important to OL and BLOCKING is important to DL, then I'm gonna go thru and take my OL from 50+ blocking to 40+ and boost their tackling from 15 to 25. And vice versa with the DTs.

Re: Cool Sim Site

Why so intent on boosting carrying gg?

Actually it is a very odd case... Bjorn is the only one with no fumbles, saved or lost... Yet has a run of the mill carrying (Though high for most of the time) and decent enough strength for a elusive back... I am guessing it is a combo of the two that affects the no. of fumbles per game...

Zarko...

It's not about fumbles, but being high enough in carrying to allow the special abilities to kick in. As well as you need a balanced approach when developing a player who has so many important categories. Like LB, QB, HB, WR, CB. Remember, carrying is THE thing that RBs do. So that should be minimum up there with speed, agility.

Jas...well, tough it out best you can. If you have a bank account or debit card attached to your bank account you can use that either to paypal it. Debit card is considered the same as credit card, so the FPs come in straight away, while bank account takes like 3-5 days.

Re: Cool Sim Site

Do banks even give debit cards to 16 yr olders? I cant see why not. All a debit card is like a regular eftpos savings card but also doubles up LIKE a credit card....the only difference is it's your money. Not borrowed like a credit card is. So if you have like 5,000 bucks in your savings account, then it's like having a credit card with 5,000 dollars in it. Except its yours and there's no interest repayment etc.

responsibility and work = independance. If there's ANYTHING i've learned in life it's that freedom is gold. Being controlled or owned or constantly meddled from others or where people spin webs of manipulation around you, etc, is worse than death. Feeling trapped. Self-govt, being able to make your own decisions (success or failure) is the best thing in life. Never compromize personal freedom, ____ everyone, stand your ground and draw a line in the sand. to respect the Romans, and it's taught me... that you'll never get anywhere in this life, unless you're prepared to do a fair day's work for a fair day's pay!

For some reason that opening sentence just reminded me of Monty python lol! Maybe its the bourbon speaking.

Yeah (sounds like a JFK speech :D, ever consider a career as a speech writer? ;)) thats one good thing about turning 18. The freedom. Amen to that!

Actually that last bit of your quote sounds like a Vince Lombardi speech. Stand your ground, draw a line in the sand, never compromise that line!

"It is a reality of life that men are competitive and the most competitive games draw the most competitive men. That's why they are there - to compete. To know the rules and objectives when they get in the game. The object is to win fairly, squarely, by the rules - but to win.

"And in truth, I've never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is something in good men that really yearns for discipline and the harsh reality of head to head combat.

Marklar reporting for duty

Mark Larson has told me that he isnt going to bother with that stuff, but will pump SPs into Carrying, due to being a back-up right now, might as well just keep on going as is. Should be able to gain 15 SPs before playoffs, Carrying will reach 30+. Catching may be 20+ by then too. Thats sounds pretty sweet to me, plus will pass Level 16 this season too... gonna ride it out for now, hope thats OK :thumbsu:
