Re: Cool Sim Site

Here we go:

Zarko - I have changed your 2 Centres to 50 and 51. If you want something else (in the 50-59 range), then let us know.

BurningLevi - Mulford DT (currently 44 - needs to in the range 60-79 or 90-99)
BurningLevi - Johnson CB (currently 17 - needs to be in the range 20-49)

Sven - Williams DT (currently 49 - needs to be in the range 60-79 or 90-99)

With Bullock changing to 34 that should be all the number to be changed. Should we allocate numbers to the other players (and then if they want to they can change them later)?

Re: Cool Sim Site

A discussion needs to be done first about whether intense-normal-relaxed really does speed up XP points or give more and if it is feasible to do with 2 days gap between games. If you look at the D after the game, they were ALL at about 60-70 energy levels. ALL OF THEM. Whereas offense were all in the 70-80 range.

After that discussion, my attitude is.....give the players the appropriate money to use on normal or intense if it DOES help give more XP points per session therefore more levels (as long as they're not wasted).
I've read in the forums that the defence tires more than the offence. This seems to be consistent with what I see after every game. If a defensive player starts on 100 and plays hard, he'll drop to 70 which can be recovered after 2 days training at relaxed. I'm yet to see any decrease in the drop of 30 based on your stamina level, but maybe someone can fill me in on that.

I did a run of playing at "normal" level instead of "hard" and it looks like you only drop to 75 instead of 70 ie a 5 point descrease.

All of the defence will be back to the 90-100 range for the next game, which I am more than comfortable with.

When training at relaxed levels you get marginally less points for training than at normal, which in turn is less than intense training, over an entire season it would add up to more than a point or two. As your attributes increase the training benefit decreases so the benefit of intense training will be less as attributes go up.

The key is that we want to keep to strategy of only having one backup for each position because this increase the amountof experience players get for playing time. Advancement of level is the quickest way to increase your attributes, as your major and minor attributes are automatically increased in points and you get 5 additional points to allocate.

Re: Cool Sim Site

Great game guys. A shutout was a great result. I was thinking it is what we should end up with considering their past results, but the game can screw you over sometimes :p Now to the next team. The look to have an advantage over us, but hopefully they play as badly as the Mataki's QB!

Re: Cool Sim Site

Ok, i'm going by manureid's latest list.

Nuntz got a number change for instance to accomodate management's favorite player (hood) who gets Bob Sanders' number.

And Mulford will get 90....gimme a chance to say all is finished before uploading

Re: Cool Sim Site

ok.....also has anyone noticed a huge change in their play when it went from normal to intense? I think my guy played better on normal but it really does not make sense:confused:
i think a player needs to have well-developed stamina in their key attributes. lower stamina means energy is depleted quicker in a game, so playing on the intense setting will use up even greater energy and hence, he wont be on the field for as many plays.

EDIT - important for players of positions which require stamina as a major key attribute.
