God damn this is annoying. Under my left arm, below the bicep near the elbow joint, there is this hard lump. It's a decent size, when i flex you can clearly see it sticking out in the mirror and when i touch it, it's hard. When i'm not flexing, you can't see it but it's still semi hard under the skin, have i got anything to worry about? Could it be a blood clot or anything serious? Man, i can't take a break.

I had something similar. Though, what had happened is I was hit in the arm while playing cricket (the new cricket ball's seem sliced through my arm and left a massive cut). But what had happened is somehow when I got it bandaged up, a small stone had got in there and by the time i had taken it off, the skin and scab had gone over it. The skin fully healed, but it wasn't until I looked in the mirror one day and saw a bump and it may be a blood clot or something, but then found out it was a small stone and they took it out.

This ain't no rock dude, it accutally feels like connected to something. My parents think it may be a vein but since when did veins come in hard ball sizes?

Thats probably the size of it when i flex. I hope it's not a blood clot or some********, that would suck the long one hard. I have high blood pressure and been working cardio pretty hard, so i bloody hope it isn't.

As a qualified personal trainer, tell me what are you lifting weight wise and what are you doing curls? and how many reps?

I doubt that you would have a calcified lump from any "soft" tissue injury and and congealing of blood would not be solid and that big.

I do as much exercises as i can, not just curls. I have a set program for my pre season, which covers every body part, it's twice as intense as my season one. But for curls, i have been lifting 32kgs for 5 reps of 3 sets for about 2 weeks now. I use to only do 20kg for 8 reps of 3 sets.

You probably have done yourself a mischief in the ligament that attaches to the forearm bone. Drop the weight down. ow weights, high reps actually build a much more solid inner core of the muscle. Learn to walk before you can run.

I tore the bicep off my bone in the upper bicep years ago, curling 55kg, It aint worth it because now I can barely do 30kg now. Slow gradual increases and variability in terms of reps is more beneficial especially if your under 21yo

I see. A doctor should be the next move then before it is check-mate.
