Pfffft, what w***ers.

The only department they have us beat in is probably the midfield, but not by much as they don't have that good of depth and their good midfielders (Judd, Stevens ect) arn't at full flight at the moment.

We have them easily covered in the backline, and our forward line is better than theirs aswell even know we're missing Lucas, and Fevola's in very poor form at the moment aswell.

Better ruck department aswell.

Oh, and not to mention we're a much fitter, quicker team which should be a big advantage playing at the MCG.

and thats what i said when we came up against Geelong and looked what happened. but to be honest bomber fans he does have a fair point they do have a good record against us

Sure its a stupid thread. But some of the responses indicate that the OP is quite lame. I saw some reasonably intelligent responses.

Just on the midfield. IMO, Judd aside, not one of their so called midfield is any better than ours, Stevens included. He is so over rated.

I don't know if anyone realises this but it is a new season. :) who cares what happened in the past. This is a new era in more ways than one. All that matters is the we are 1-1 and Carlton are 0-2. That pretty much sums up where both teams are.

Judd, Stevens and Fevola. shut them down, shut Carlton down
 
I dont think Nick Stevens would be any more of a worry for us than say Stanton would be for them. Certainly not at the moment. Probably try to shut down the other two to a certain extent but I pretty confident Knights will tell them to go out and play attacking footy otherwise.

thornton was a star in the backline in that game tho. jamison will play on lloyd. should be a good game.

guess what? in round 1 we beat a team called North Melbourne. They beat a team called Richmond. They beat a team called Carlton. did Jamison play on Richo btw? if so, I am scared :rolleyes:

Guess what? North Melbourne had a fantastic record against us over the past 5 years. Round 1 we came out and beat em by 50 points. So don't get too confident.

Not one team in the AFL can be excused for a round one loss. Dosen't matter who you are playing you have had 6 months to prepare for it.
 
For once people are talking about our pace. If our blokes have the right attitude on saturday night, we will blow carlton away. If not were gone.
