It wasn't some backhander or jumper punch either, he got a fistfull of Mitchell's jumper from straight in front with his left, lined him up, and put a solid right punch straight into his jaw.

Didn't realise ppl weren't getting it live, sorry about that, Mitchell was laying on the ground then they showed the replay and Goddard threw a big punch/elbow and Mitchell went down, haven't showed it since but its at a ball up/boundary throw in situation, plenty of camera angles. Looks bad from what I saw, unneccesary from Brendan, maybe not 6 weeks as I first said but multiple weeks definitely.

I reckon he would normally get 3-4 but being a blatant hit in a final he may get as many as 6.

Looked like more of the forearm to me, but still, the damage was done and it was intentional. Would expect to see him miss around the first month of footy next year.
