Well how about the Asian girls not knowing who John Wayne was ...i mean seriously ?

Classics. They never get old. These are iconic films and like you said always on tv, and part of popular and cinematic culture
Do you think young people would know who Elvis is ? And i am amazed that you are 34 and never seen a John Wayne Movie .I know who john wayne is but have never seen his movie and im 34. Young people wouldn't have a clue who he is and fair enough.
I saw Keith at the local supermarket the other day, my missus had to point him out as I didn't recognise him without a bluey on
The problem is these days is they don't play the old movies like they did when I was a kid. There was rarely ever sports on the telly on the weekend, and if you were stuck inside due to bad weather you'd watch those old John Wayne & Elvis films during the day.Do you think young people would know who Elvis is ? Celebrity is also a different thing now. Im 29 but love old film, James Dean, John Wayne, Cagney, Grant etc, but most people don't. If you hadn't watched his movies or grown up around someone who had (and given they are Asian I doubt they were watching the Dukes movies with dad) its not a huge shock.
That MAFS fight was intense, but the chick was being an a grade campaigner, imagine if a bloke was sitting there badgering someone about having sex, wouldn't be okay.
me too, and in days before the VCR's/internet came along, all you had was either the cinema or TV to see movies.Exactly, that's how I know about John Wayne, Jerry Lewis etc because as a kid their movies were always on tv.
